Astonishingly we have our first festival of music and arts this bank holiday weekend in what is normally our uneventful town. Although Liz Hurley did get married here a few years ago and recent excitement has been the local deli moving to bigger premises and expanding into a coffee shop. Anyway the local church is hosting a sculpture exhibition so I took a few shots...

More Vintage
Here are some more of my vintage finds. The small pewter trinket box is a Charles Rennie Mackintosh one and I found a few cute paste buckles. I couldnt resist the bright orange butterdish even though the base is missing:(Cotswolds Vintage Fair

Before and After

Friday was the last day of school for India and Jade. New schools await in September. I wonder if their head teacher gave them a certificate for their pimped up uniform?

Retro Candleholders
I love the colours of these candleholders. They live on my windowsill and although made from transparent plastic, catch the light just like glass .
Vintage
I found this lovely laquered small chest with lots of tiny drawers just waiting to be filled with jewellery or buttons. I love boxes so I was dead chuffed to find this old turquoise silk handkerchief box which is faded and worn and works well as a prop for these silver hooped earings.
Vintage Scottie Dog Lamp
This very cute Scottie Dog Lamp will be for sale on my Ms Jones stall at The Cotswolds Vintage Fair to be held on Saturday 25th August 2012.
